If you own 100% of the business, you are good to go.The business must be controlled by a woman which means that long term decision making and day to day management  and administration of the business operations must be conducted by the woman owner.

The US Small Business Administration will provide greater access to federal contracting.for women owned businesses. Women in technology, construction, architects, security guards, research, employment, training, are just a few categories where contracting officers may set aside contracts for certified women businesses.
